The Forgetting Curve

I have been thinking about the structures of memory, the synaptic pathways and neural networks that are activated when I encode, store and retrieve memories. I wonder what these pathways of memory might look like, layered into the sensory experience of the present.

“The Forgetting Curve” included experiments in progress and recent works in a range of media that investigated the invisible and elusive subject of my own memory. I wanted to remap the private interior space of remembering into the public space of the gallery.
