Earworm (node), 2008, 10' x15' x10', plastic, copper, speakers, LED's, music by Lisa Mezzacappa

This sound sculpture is a musical improvisation based on the word "node," which we translated into a physical experience in the gallery. The song begins in the horn forms at either end of this structure, and moves to 14 speakers in the "body" of the piece as the music swells.
