“Retina” was a model of the visual system. I programmed the lights to illuminate the separate synaptic from the rods and cones back to the optic nerve, showing viewers the cellular structure that they, themselves were using to see the artwork.

“Osmosis” was the product of a month-long HARP residency where I transformed the gallery and $1000 of materials from Home Depot into a laboratory for research into invented luminous biology.
